Review: Ruby Kisses

I have been so blessed to recieve some amazing products from my fairy-godmother on FB. She is apart of a makeup group that I am in and I wanna personally tell her thank you again... (Thanks Donna)
For awhile now I have been using alot of Ruby Kisses products on clients, myself etc but was not able to access the foundation and powders. Now that I have them lets talk:

I love the Ruby Kisses gel liners. I mean I know alot of woman who are just starting out in the makeup field that cant afford the M.A.C Blacktrack fluidline. This is a great dupe and it dries down quickly. If you wanna use these as a base for a smokey eye make sure that you move quickly because one they dry down thats it.

The 3D Face Creators are very creamy and blends very well. I actually use Number 9 for my brows (the lighter side) and it turned out great. Did I use it all over the face? Umm...NO! I have heard so many horror stories on this foundation that I am actually scared to do so. I did use it  as a highlighter in my M.A.C Cinderfella post (please check it out). So, I dont wanna say that it is a bad product. I just haven't tested it that far yet.

The Ruby Kisses banana powder is a ok powder and let me explain why? First off I am not really a fan of the loose powders because one they are a mess to work with. Two, they do creep into fine lines and thats not flattering on a mature client. Three not all loose powders photograph well. What looks good in a cellphone or tablet camera does not look good with HD (NIkon, Sony etc) cameras. So, to my inspiring makeup artist becareful with loose powders.

I hope this post was helpful to those who where interested in Ruby Kisses products. Please share with me what some of your favorite products from Ruby Kisses are below in the comment section.

Tianna's Favs: M.A.C Blushes Fall 2012

Alot of woman of color are intimidate by blush because they fill it will make them look cartoonish. I say "Girl..get on the blush train!" Blush is beautiful if applied right. Depending on the company, color and texture blush can be applied heavy or light. For example: Blunt is considered a blush but alot of people use it as a contour and its applied heavy. Fever blush is a matte blush and its very rich in color. Depending on the look you are going for it can be used light or heavy. Here are the blushes that I am loving right now L to R:
1. Plum Foolery
2. Stratus (Heavenly Creatures Collection)
3. Desert Rose
4. Raizin (Favorite)
5. Blunt (Favorite contour color)
6. Fever (Favorite)
7. Loverush

I love these colors. The only color that is limited edition is Stratus but I did see it on the M.A.C website. I do recommend that color. I will be doing other post like this with drugstore blushes as well. When it comes to blushes I personally feel like you don't need alot. Just a couple that go with your skintone. In M.A.C I am  a NC45-50 so these colors work great for have to pick blushes that work great for you. www.maccosmetics.com

Wet n Wild Megalast

I am in love with these nail polishes. I pick up these polishes while grocery shopping. I love all the colors. I also love the price range as well. If you are near a Shoprite or Walgreens check them out. The wear on these are great too. I even wash dishes with bleach and cleaned my bathroom. Just make sure you use a good base and top coat.

Nadege Cosmetics

Coming to you with another review for Nadege Cosmetics. I had the pleasure of using these items before I went to a wedding a week ago. I used Cherub (off white color) on lid and Celebrity (bronze shade with gold glitter) all on lid. I also used Incognito lipgloss (shimmery pink). Reminds me off M.A.C Oyster girl. I loved these products. They are flattering to the skin. She also has a great selection of lipsticks as well.

If you are from tge Tri State area and wanna see her products up close and personal then visit Nadege Cosmetics on Facebook. She is holding a get together September 9 from 3 to 6pm. I will also be in attendance as well. Hope to see yoy all there.
