How much do you love purple?

Hello,

If you have been a reader of my blog for years than you know that I don't normally play around with dark lip colors and lip stains. I am more of a pink and red girl. However, now that I am maturing I want to branch out and try different things. So, when I was sent a box of goodies from Black Opal I was excited. I loved all the products that were sent to me and it made me want to try out some new deep fall shades. So, a couple of years back M.A.C came out with this beautiful purple color called "Seductive Intent". I never realized how beautiful it was until I decided to play with it before I went to my Sunday Morning Meeting.

Here is a video for this look:

As you can see it is a amazing color that I just adore!! I add this picture to all my social media networks and it was a big hit. I received so many compliments on this lip color. So, my question to you all is: "What is your favorite purple lipstick?"

Please leave comments below and let me know what you think I should purchase next for my new purple lipstick collection that I will be starting soon!

Rave: Shea Moisture Shampoo

Just a quick review on this product right here! So, after my road trip my hair needed some kind of love. My hair was dry and I heard great reviews on this product. I can honestly say that I love this shampoo.  I don't love the price but I was told that Target always has sales. I love the way it lathered and really moisturized my hair. Its been 3 days and my scalp has yet to itch. Now, in all fairness I have been moisturizing my locs with Coconut oil and Vatika oil. My hair needs a lot of moisturize and sealing. I can't go without oiling my hair everyday. Now, I am taking Hairfinity vitamins and I am going to update on that soon. I am going to be taking it for 3mos just to see how I like it. I am seeing other reviews on different vitamins as well that I might be interested in. I will keep you all posted. For now I am loving this shampoo and I plan on putting my other shampoos to rest.

Hair update

I am in love with this new hair routine. My last update didn't do me well. Due to the humidify in the Tri State area my locs had become so dry and my scalp was flaky. So I went to the health store and picked up some items (please check the pics for info)

What I did was wash my hair with with Shampoo that is sulfate free and chemical free and then used conditioner. While the conditioner was in my hair I drenched my hair in coconut milk and let it sit. After about 15 minutes I rinsed it out and processed. I retwisted with pure aloe Vera gel and olive oil. I used perm rods to rollerset my hair as well. I love how my hair feels. My locs dont feel dry and brittle. I live tge shiny look and the moisture as well. Remember that what use may not work for you. Its all about trial and error.
